Founded in 1972, the original name is Guangzhou State-Owned White Cloud Machine Factory specialized in manufacturing of cookers, beverage production line, and strap transport etc.  

In 1987, the company began to produce infrared cooker and became the domestic leading manufacturer of gas stove.  

In 1993, the company renamed to Guangzhou REDSUN Gas Appliance Company and was famous in professional manufacturing of infrared cookers.  

In March 2001, the company was reconstructed from state-owned enterprise to limited company.  

In 2002, the company invested 50 million RMB to build gardenesque modern workshop in 25 thousand square meters area, which was the REDSUN gas appliance manufacturing base.  

In March 2003, REDSUN gas appliance manufacturing base completed.  

In 2003, the company was listed reconstruction model by Guangdong Property Right Exchange. After reconstruction, REDSUN Company began to form five series of products including gas stove, water heater, sterilizing cabinet, range hoods and heater. The turnover reached to 150 million RMB.  

In November 2003, REDSUN invested 60 million RMB to build 28 thousand square meter area modern workshop which is home electrical appliances manufacturing base.  

On April 20, 2004, REDSUN Company held shareholder meeting to vote profit sharing of 2003, confirm sales aim of 2004 and pass the decision of establishment of ceramic slice company.  

In December 2004, home electrical appliances manufacturing base completed.
